
Founded in 2002 as Idea, Brandgraphica™ is the passion of John McCarthy, a former director of the Creative Direction Partnership which grew until it became irresistible to The Haygarth Group, part of M&C Saatchi Village. John then became Creative Director of the design resource, which serviced all the Group’s specialist divisions and was responsible for developing business with the BBC, Barclays Bank, Tesco, Nokia and Symantec.

John noticed that he and his team were relying increasingly on ‘unique expression’ born from a profound understanding of brand.
He recognised that there was a real need, and an opportunity, for an entity that could deliver this expertise for 'powerful, authentic brand expression', to a wider range of private and public organisations. Brand is just as vital for SMEs as it is to the larger national and international organisations that Brangraphica serves. The idea of ‘specialist service’, adding specialist competencies to our own core, design function to meet each client’s exacting requirements, was developed alongside a unique methodology to deliver branding excellence to organisations large and small.
